Picture Locked

Today we locked the picture and threw away the key. Sorry for that horrible pun-metaphor, but I'm pretty really tremendously excited!

For those of you unacquainted with film terminology, picture lock means the visual edit is complete. At this stage, the film can now proceed to sound design, special effects, and coloring. This is called finishing, and true to its title, it means the film is almost complete!

Wouldn't it be awesome if this were actually in the film?

Of course, "almost" is relative. We still have two and a half months until the film premieres, and that time will be spent hard at work by our post-production team. Nevertheless, today signifies a giant leap toward unleashing "Earlids" on the world.

I can't wait to share the film with everyone! Thanks again for your support, and stay tuned for more updates as the premiere date nears.
