Another's Ear Fascination

Full disclosure: I do not have an obsession with ears. Though "Earlids" focuses on the titular, fictional, physical abnormality, it serves more as a storytelling tool than a viewing object. Nevertheless, ears and hearing are still fascinating!

Last week I was forwarded an excellently written, and very enlightening, article about the author's self-described "ear fixation." Strange? Unhealthy? Super cool? Up to you to decide!

On the hearing subject, this week I continued some research on how having sound-blocking ear flaps would affect your hearing and mental processes. So stay tuned for a future blog post about some of the science that will go into "Earlids"!
