Look Ma, No Hands

Last night was a big moment in Earlids history...It will go down as "The Day the Earlids Moved!"

We held an extremely successful prosthetics and earlids test yesterday. There were many firsts: Roper (our wonderful actor) wore the earlids for the first time, said earlids moved for the first time, and our camera team worked together for the first time. And all of these are far from the last times!

Want to see the earlids in action? You're in luck! (Disclaimer: the green rods, used to puppeteer the prosthetics, will be removed in post-production.) Without further ado...watch here!

Roper, playing Lee: Your first [time wearing earlids] is always special

Filming begins in just a week! I would say it snuck up on us, but in fact, we've been hard at work for months and months. So the more apt things to say is: we're ready! Goals for the final pre-production week: our final earlids molds, acquire production design, assemble costumes, check out and rent our equipment, and rehearse. But to do all of this successfully, we need...

Kickstarter! A big thank you to all of our backers so far--we couldn't do it without you. We're approaching our goal, but the campaign is all or nothing. Let's make it all! Any and all help is greatly appreciated by the entire team.

Stay tuned for more updates as we ready for production and after our first weekend of filming. One word to tide you over until next time: Auriculapharoplasty.
